This role focuses on assembling complex electro-mechanical products for a variety of industries, including medical, automotive, and aerospace. You will use your hands-on assembly skills, schematic reading ability, and attention to detail to build, wire, and inspect high-quality assemblies in a clean room environment on a day shift schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electro-mechanical components and systems according to schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Perform box builds, including mounting components, routing wiring, and completing final assembly.
  • Read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings to ensure accurate assembly and wiring.
  • Build and route cable harnesses, including cutting, crimping, and terminating cables and small pins.
  • Carry out point-to-point wiring and basic electrical wiring tasks to specified standards.
  • Perform electrical assembly and valve assembly work as required for each product.
  • Use hand and measuring tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, calipers, torque tools, and crimping tools safely and accurately.
  • Solder components and connections as needed, following proper soldering techniques and quality standards.
  • Conduct visual inspections of assemblies to verify quality, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Follow clean room procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with other assemblers to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Multitask across different assemblies and priorities while maintaining a high level of detail orientation.

Essential Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience as an electro-mechanical assembler or in a closely related assembly role.
  • Proven ability to read and understand schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with cable harness assembly, including crimping and terminating small pins.
  • Demonstrated experience performing box builds and complete electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Proficiency in electrical assembly, including basic wiring and point-to-point wiring.
  • Experience with valve assembly tasks.
  • Solid soldering skills for electrical and electronic components.
  • Comfort using hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers, and precision tools such as calipers and torque tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate inspections of completed work.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple assembly tasks while maintaining quality standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working in a clean room or similarly controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Pneumatic assembly experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow standardized processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team of assemblers.
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working a consistent day shift schedule.

Work Environment

The clean room setting requires adherence to cleanliness and procedural standards to maintain product quality and a safe, organized workspace.
