Cargill is hiring a Production Laborer for our refinery operations. In this role, you will support safe, reliable production of food products by operating and monitoring refinery and packaging equipment, handling materials, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. You will follow strict safety, sanitation, and quality standards while recording production data and reporting any issues. Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, you'll help meet production goals and learn new processes, contributing to Cargill's mission of sustainable, high-quality food solutions.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor refinery production and packaging equipment
- Follow strict safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
- Perform basic equipment inspections and housekeeping
- Load, unload, and move materials using plant tools or machinery
- Record production data and report issues to supervisors
- Assist with changeovers, minor adjustments, and routine checks
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
- Follow lockout/tagout and other safety protocols
Required Skills
- Basic manufacturing or refinery operations
- Equipment operation and monitoring
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of safety procedures and PPELockout/tagout awareness
- Material handling and packaging
- Quality inspection and documentation
- Reading gauges and basic measurements
- Basic computer or data entry skills
- Housekeeping and sanitation in production areas
