Refinery Superintendent

Cargill is seeking a Refinery Superintendent to lead day-to-day operations at our manufacturing refinery. In this role, you will oversee production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output while meeting regulatory and environmental standards. You will lead and mentor frontline leaders and operators, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with maintenance, quality, engineering, and supply chain to optimize throughput and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily refining operations for safety, quality, and efficiency
• Lead and develop refinery production teams and supervisors
• Implement and monitor process improvements and KPIs
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards
• Coordinate maintenance planning to minimize downtime
• Manage production schedules, inventory, and throughput targets
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, and supply chain teams
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
• Develop and manage refinery operating budgets
• Report performance metrics and action plans to senior leadership
