As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver Day Shifts in Newark, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to alarms and service requests, and document observations with clear communication. You will support a professional client and visitor experience while partnering with your team in a culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and grounded in integrity.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify identification, credentials, and/or visitor authorization as required by post orders, directing visitors to the appropriate check-in process.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and local emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed reports for patrol activity, incidents, and shift events, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and the client representative.

• A valid driver's license from the state in which the job is located is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience - preferred.
• Guard Card/License - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
