As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol in Newark, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations and documenting relevant observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate pertinent information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
