Role Description

This full-time, on-site Cabinet Maker role is based in Newark, CA. The Cabinet Maker will fabricate, assemble, and install custom cabinets and millwork using drawings, measurements, and project specifications. Daily responsibilities include cutting, shaping, and finishing wood components; operating woodworking tools and machinery; and ensuring accurate fit and alignment during installation. The role also involves reading and interpreting plans, collaborating with team members and supervisors, maintaining a clean and safe workshop, and inspecting completed work for quality and durability.

The Cabinet Maker will be expected to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and support continuous improvement in shop processes.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Cabinetry and Millwork for custom fabrication and installation.
  • Candidates should possess solid Carpentry and Woodworking skills for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing materials.
  • Candidates should possess Spatial Design skills to interpret drawings, measure accurately, and ensure proper layout and fit.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints, shop drawings, and written specifications.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery, following all safety guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and ability to solve practical construction and installation problems.
  • Reliable attendance, ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and manual handling throughout the workday.
  • Previous experience as a cabinet maker, carpenter, or in a related millwork environment is preferred.
