We are seeking a Software Support Engineer to support connectivity and vehicle system software within a fast-paced engineering environment. This role focuses on diagnosing, testing, and resolving software issues related to vehicle access control modules (ECU), infotainment, and connectivity features. The engineer will collaborate closely with development, testing, and field teams to reproduce issues, submit debug tickets, and support stable software releases.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, test, and troubleshoot software and system issues related to vehicle ECUs, with a primary focus on Access Control Modules (ACM).
  • Investigate customer- and development-reported issues, reproduce defects, and submit detailed debugging tickets with clear documentation.
  • Collaborate with infotainment, connectivity, and embedded software development teams to analyze root causes and support issue resolution.
  • Assist with Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates and support validation of OTA deployments to vehicles.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues involving LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, and in-vehicle networking systems.
  • Participate in testing of infotainment and connectivity features; document test procedures, results, and findings.
  • Gain hands‑on exposure to vehicle communication protocols such as CAN and CANoe, and support testing within embedded Linux environments.
  • Support maintenance and improvement of test infrastructure and tools.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and provide clear documentation to support knowledge transfer and field service teams.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in software support, testing, or diagnostics within embedded systems, automotive, or related domains.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (required).
  • Hands‑on experience with ECU testing and diagnostics, preferably Access Control Modules or similar vehicle components.
  • Working knowledge of Linux-based systems and embedded software environments.
  • Experience with Vector tools (e.g., CANoe) and vehicle communication protocols (CAN experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with OTA updates, infotainment systems, TCU, or vehicle connectivity is highly desirable.
  • Basic understanding of LTE, Wi‑Fi, GPS, and networking concepts.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally in a collaborative team environment.
