Lead Fullstack Engineer Onsite Newark California

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Developer with over 12 years of expertise in the MERN stack to join our supply chain management team and drive the development of high-impact applications for the automotive sector.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in React and Java, exceptional coding practices, proven leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of system design to ensure robust, scalable solutions.

You Will

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of developers in building and maintaining automotive-related web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Java).
• Define and oversee technical strategy and architecture for scalable and robust web solutions in the automotive domain.
• Ensure the implementation of best practices and standards in coding and software development.
• Develop solutions using event-driven architecture, Mongo Change Streams, Kafka, Schema Registry, and connectors.
• Architect and develop complex features and enhancements for our automotive platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions.
• Maintain and improve existing systems, addressing performance, reliability, and security issues.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements to incorporate innovative solutions into our projects.
• Continuously optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Act as a technical liaison with automotive clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Translate complex business needs into technical specifications and actionable tasks.

You Bring

• Minimum of 12 years of experience as a Lead Developer with extensive expertise in the MERN stack.
• Experience in React, Java, Mongo stack is MUST.
• Proven track record of leading development teams and managing large-scale projects.
• Strong experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, and Java.
• Strong experience with Kafka and implementing event-driven and serverless architecture.
• Background in developing and deploying web applications within the automotive industry or related sectors.
• Familiarity with supply chain management.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git), CICD practices, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java or Java-based frameworks (Spring Boot, Microservices, etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of automotive software development frameworks and protocols
• Relevant certifications or advanced degrees in computer science or related fields
