Job Overview
Worldpac, a leading name in automotive parts distribution, is hiring a DC Associate to support warehouse operations. The role involves picking, packing, staging parts, using hand‑held radio frequency devices (RF scanners), moving boxes throughout the distribution center, and receiving and moving materials within the warehouse.
Responsibilities- Mark pallets with identifying store information.
- Use computers and RF devices to enter records.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Use voice picking system.
- Maintain a clean, hazard‑free work area.
- Use handheld radio frequency device (R.F. Unit).
- Ensure consistent, reliable attendance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED/homeschool).
Must‑have skills:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Eligible to work in the country applying.
- Ability to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals.
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, whole numbers, fractions, decimals.
Nice‑to‑have skills (not required):
Prior warehouse training or experience.
- Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and hear, frequently stop, kneel and crouch, occasionally sit, climb, or balance.
- Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly; 50 pounds frequently; 100 pounds occasionally.
- Require close and distance vision, ability to adjust focus.
