Sr. Tax Accountant

* Must be coming directly from a public accounting role (not from corporate/industry)

* Role is on-site 4-5 days/week in Newark, DE

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Accountant with 3 to 5 years of public accounting experience to join our growing team at a regionally leading CPA firm. While you will have exposure to various accounting functions, this role leans heavily toward Tax preparation and planning. You will play a vital role in client management, compliance, and strategic advisory.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and review complex corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
• Provide tax planning and business consulting services to a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Assist with accounting and audit engagements as needed, depending on your interests and firm needs.
• Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.

Required Qualifications

• BS in Accounting
• 3–5 years of public accounting experience
• Strong background in Tax
• Must be coming directly from public accounting (not a corporate role)
• Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative, mid-sized team environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client deadlines.
