Bellevue State Park Administrative Support

Introduction

Bellevue State Park is the former estate of William DuPont Jr and features remnants of leisured life in the Gilded age.

The seasonal position will sell park permits, provide customer service by explaining regulations, answering visitor requests, needs and complaints, and providing information about the park and surrounding areas. Responsibilities may include completing daily deposits, verifying fee booth revenue and paperwork, creating associated revenue reports, assisting with collection and processing of payments for all sections of the park, specifically school & public programs, summer camps, and special events, running an automated sales program through a common software program, tracking supplies and inventory, coordinating and organizing detailed invoicing and payments, and other clerical duties as required.

Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

• Provides telephone support.
• Includes filing, document creation, updates data entry, tracking paperwork.
• Constituent and Legislative Contact.
• Taking Meeting Minutes.
• Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability and good communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Other duties as assigned.

Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:

• Six months customer service experience.
• Six months experience in cash handling, writing receipts.
• Six months experience in using standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets, or databases.
• Possession of a valid driver's license (not suspended, revoked, or cancelled, or disqualified from driving).

This is a Casual/Seasonal position which is a non‑pension eligible position without healthcare and/or other benefits.
