Position: Data Analyst Trainee (Intern)

PCOnline is looking for a detail-oriented, energetic and responsible candidate to join our Marketplace Management team. This is a challenging and exciting position that focuses on building analytical frameworks, evaluating operational performance, and providing data-driven actionable recommendations that directly influence cost efficiency, customer strategy, business strategies and resource allocation, and long-term operational planning.
This position begins with a 3-month internship, after which a decision regarding further employment will be made.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, verify, and structure the operational data; ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of key business metrics used for decision-making.
  • Analyze core operating costs, monthly revenue trends, and resource utilization to support forecasting, cost control, and operational planning.
  • Build customer-level profitability models, evaluate margin performance and cost structure, and provide insights for client prioritization and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop monthly and quarterly data visualization reports; identify operational patterns, potential find outs, and inefficiencies, and communicate findings clearly to cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with the overseas operations team, and financing team to align data standards, support business reviews, and drive measurable improvements across business operations.
  • Create or optimize analytical models using advanced Excel, SQL, and BI tools to enhance automation, improve reporting efficiency, and strengthen data-driven decision support.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights clearly.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven mindset.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced operational environment is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, and the ability to analyze complex data and generate actionable reports
