Job Overview
Bloom Energy is seeking an EH&S Manager, Field to support our field service and construction teams. The role will manage and implement environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple projects.
Location & TravelSan Jose, CA or Newark, DE, with frequent travel to field service and construction sites. Travel up to 50% of the time. Position is full‑time.
Responsibilities- Provide technical, programmatic, and operational assistance to field and corporate projects.
- Develop and oversee all Company Field Safety Programs, Policies and Procedures, including job‑specific safety plans.
- Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations such as CAA, CWA, RCRA and NFPA
70E. - Coordinate data/sample collection and reporting for Corporate Environmental, Sustainability and ESG efforts.
- Implement safety training and presentations (OSHA
10,30, new‑employee orientation, etc.) for management and field personnel. - Conduct jobsite safety audits and inspections; investigate incidents and develop corrective action plans.
- Advise senior management on safety issues and regulatory compliance.
- Support claims management procedures and corporate fleet safety training.
- 5+ years EH&S related experience; international experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Current OSHA
500® &511® certifications (preferred). - Knowledge of OSHA
29CF
R1910 &1926, Construction Health and Safety Technician certification (preferred). - Current First Aid/CPR Instructor certification.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite; strong computer skills.
- English communication skills;
Spanish bilingual encouraged. - Driving qualification as required by the Company Fleet Safety Program.
Physical Requirements
Work may be conducted indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions and may involve exposure to fumes, particulate matter, noise, and working at heights or in confined spaces. Up to 25lb lifting, climbing, bending and lifting, and working with energized circuits or equipment is expected. Domestic and international travel is required.
