Horn Entrepreneurship serves as the University of Delaware’s creative engine for entrepreneurship education and advancement. Built and actively supported by successful entrepreneurs and thought leaders, Horn Entrepreneurship empowers aspiring innovators and entrepreneurs as they pursue new ideas for a better world.
Role DescriptionHorn Entrepreneurship is seeking a talented, passionate, and enterprising individual who is eager to contribute to advancing the mission of Horn Entrepreneurship. This is a hands‑on internship opportunity for a driven student who wants to build a creative portfolio while contributing to a mission‑driven, innovative environment. You'll be instrumental in shaping Horn’s digital presence while gaining experience and mentorship that will serve you throughout your academic and professional journey.
In this dynamic position, you can expect to work on several projects simultaneously, work under tight deadlines, and collaborate with the creative team. Good communication skills and team etiquette are a must.
Specific work hours are flexible and agreed upon with the supervisor. Some work outside of normal business hours will be required for evening and weekend events. There is potential for additional internship hours during the summer.
Primary Responsibilities- Write posts for Horn's social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, Twitter/X)
- Create content (e.g., including graphics, reels, and short videos) for social platforms using tools like Canva
- Provide coverage of events and programs
- Strong visual design sensibility and experience in Canva, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator), or another design platform.
- Passion for social media trends, creative content, and storytelling
- Detail‑oriented
