Physician Assistant - Pediatrics Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct physical exams and take medical histories
  • Diagnoses and treat illnesses, injuries, and other pediatric conditions

Requirements

Physician Assistant - Pediatrics Qualifications & Skills

  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Specialized training or coursework in pediatric care
  • Previous experience in a pediatric healthcare setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Knowledge of pediatric growth and development
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Valid Physician Assistant state license
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
