Overview
Christiana Care, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare, is actively recruiting a BE/BC Pathologist to join the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in Newark, DE.
The successful candidate will join a stable, close-knit team of 10 physicians with varying surgical pathology and cytology subspecialty interests, and 6 Pathologists' Assistants who perform surgical and autopsy grossing duties.
ResponsibilitiesProvide diagnostic pathology services as part of a collaborative department. Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and engage in academic and clinical activities as applicable to the subspecialties of surgical pathology and cytology within the group.
QualificationsBoard Certified (or eligible) in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
Fellowship training preferred:
Surgical pathology and/or Hematopathology valuableMust have the ability to be licensed in the state of Delaware and meet credentialing requirements

The actual compensation within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on a variety of factors, including fair market value for physician services, candidate experience, education, training, credentials, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
The compensation range listed may include forms of applicable compensation such as productivity incentives and other ancillary forms of compensation dependent on operational factors such as hours worked and call coverage. Christiana Care will offer compensation at an appropriate point within the range or, less frequently, may offer outside the listed range as warranted by circumstances.
