USC Quizzo Director(s)- are/is responsible for providing assistance with the weekly trivia series Quizzo. Responsibilities include being a part of the program planning, execution of promoting events, oversight of executing the program, and assisting in the assessment process. Directors may be asked to assist with additional programs supported by Student Involvement if available as needed. Directors will be well versed on policies and procedures within the University Student Centers.
Primaryjob duties
- Schedules a different weekly RSO Quizzo Host prior to the start of the semester
- Assists Quizzo hosts with putting together Quizzo question and power points
- Orders and confirms catering
- Works Quizzo each Tuesday evening with enthusiasm and energy
- Works with Event Services to ensure that tech and setup needs are met each week
- Assists with assessment surveys and tracking of attendance
- Create at least 1 social media post per week to advertise the program
- Other duties as assigned
- Basic understanding of how to program events and time management skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Experience in leadership/management positions
- General knowledge of multiple areas of the University community is a plus
- Punctuality, reliability, and dependability
- Interest in working in the student affairs field or event planning/management
- Must be able to work nights and weekends
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 5 hours per week. No more than 10 hours per week
- Must be a matriculated University of Delaware undergraduate or graduate student with a minimum overall GPA of 2.5
