Pay: $17-$18 per hour

Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Newark is seeking a Preschool Teacher with TECE I or TECE II credentials to join our early childhood education team. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy creating a structured, engaging, and play-based learning environment that supports school readiness and social development.

Our preschool classrooms focus on consistency, positive guidance, and hands-on learning to help children build confidence, independence, and early academic skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and support preschool classroom activities in a safe, developmentally appropriate environment

* Implement daily lessons aligned with The Learning Experience curriculum

* Guide children through learning centers, transitions, meals, and rest time

* Support social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured activities

* Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety standards

* Build strong relationships with families through daily communication

* Maintain compliance with Delaware Office of Child Care Licensing requirements and center policies

Qualifications:

* TECE I or TECE II credential required

* Prior preschool or childcare classroom experience preferred

* Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices

* Reliable, professional, and team-oriented

* Ability to meet all Delaware childcare licensing and background requirements
