About the Role

The Learning Experience - Newark, DE is seeking a Lead-Qualified Floater Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role supports multiple classrooms (Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool) and is ideal for a flexible, skilled educator who enjoys variety and making an impact across the entire school.

Our program focuses on early academics, social-emotional growth, and hands-on learning in a joyful, structured environment.

What You'll Do

* Step into different classrooms (Infant, Toddler, Preschool) as needed

* Lead and support classrooms in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate way

* Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum across age groups

* Support early literacy, math, social skills, creativity, and problem-solving

* Maintain strong communication with families and team members

* Ensure compliance with Delaware licensing and center policies

* Support daily routines including transitions, meals, rest time, and activities

* Partner with leadership and teaching teams to maintain high-quality programming

Qualifications (Lead Qualified Required)

* TECE 1 & TECE 2 required (Delaware Early Care & Education)

* High school diploma or GED required; CDA or ECE coursework strongly preferred

* At least 6 months of classroom experience (1+ year preferred)

* Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)

* CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
