Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Director for Undergraduate Recruitment, Engineering Ambassadors (EGAs) serve as ambassadors to the College of Engineering and assist in aiding college recruitment efforts of prospective and admitted students and their families. Ambassadors will assist with open houses in the fall and spring, serve as panelists during in-person or virtual recruitment events, serve as tour guides for the college, and assist with College of Engineering events and other programs hosted by the Undergraduate Services office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with Saturday events hosted by the College of Engineering and Admissions
- Assist with general engineering tours
- Assist with in-person and virtual events either by greeting, guiding, or as a panelist
- Assist with college events hosted by the Undergraduate Services office
- Attend training and pre-event meetings
Qualifications:
- Involved with the College of Engineering in at least one way including but not limited to RSOs, research, peer mentor, teaching assistant, study abroad or internship.
- Positive attitude and can represent UD and COE positively
