Qualifications & Desired

Experience:

• Experience working as a Behavior Specialist or similar role in a school setting
• Strong understanding of behavior management principles and intervention strategies
• Ability to collect and analyze student data to develop effective behavior plans
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with multi-disciplinary teams
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field required;
  Master's preferred
• Familiarity with special education processes and documentation is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Assess student behaviors and collaborate to develop individualized behavior intervention plans
• Provide coaching, modeling, and guidance to school staff for classroom management strategies
• Support students during challenging situations, fostering positive behavior change
• Monitor progress, maintain detailed documentation, and adjust plans as needed
• Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure coordinated support
• Participate in IEP and team meetings when appropriate, offering behavioral expertise
