Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Delaware Special Education Teaching license required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, ideally within autism support or specialized programs
• Strong commitment to inclusive education and differentiated instruction
• Skill in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring
• Collaborative spirit when working with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Candidates must be prepared to pay for CBC fingerprinting ($85) as part of the onboarding process

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized instruction to elementary students with autism, adapting strategies to meet IEP goals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create effective learning environments
• Communicate regularly with families on goals, progress, and strategies
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation for compliance purposes
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
• Foster a positive, structured, and responsive classroom setting

Schedule:

• Contract beginning 02/03/2026 and ending 06/11/2026
• 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday (8:25 a.m.
  
  - 3:55 p.m. with a paid lunch)
