Pay: $17–$18 per hour
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday–Friday
The Learning Experience – Newark is seeking a caring and dependable Toddler Teacher to support children during an important stage of language development, independence, and social‑emotional growth.
This role focuses on creating engaging classroom experiences through structured routines, hands‑on learning activities, and positive teacher‑child relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Support daily classroom routines for toddler‑aged children
- Encourage language development and positive social interaction
- Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities and classroom centers
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Guide children through transitions including meals and classroom routines
- Communicate regularly with families regarding routines and milestones
- Follow Delaware licensing and safety requirements
- TECE 1 or TECE 2 required
- Prior toddler classroom experience preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Reliable, nurturing, and team‑oriented approach
- Must meet Delaware childcare licensing requirements
