NCCL School is a progressive, student-centered K–5 program rooted in experiential learning, collaboration, and meaningful relationships. Our small, deeply connected community values curiosity, creativity, and real-world engagement. This is a pivotal and energizing moment for NCCL. As we transition to a K–5 model, we are thoughtfully reimagining what progressive education can look like in a sustainable, future-focused way.

• Planning and overseeing the Extended Care program.
• Working directly with children and building positive relationships with families.
• Communicating with parents and managing program enrollment and contracts.
• Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising a small team of counselors.
• Planning menus and purchasing after-school snacks.
• Collaborating with the Financial Director to develop and manage the Extended Care budget.
• Contributing interests, talents, and ideas that enrich the program.

• Genuine love of working with children.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in education, childcare, or a mission-driven organization preferred.

• Monday‑Friday: 2:45 pm – 6:00 pm.
• Occasional half‑day Fridays from 11:45 am – 6:00 pm (~10 times per school year). If the right candidate can work most but not everyday after school, we could make it work.
• Two paid preparation hours per week.

Compensation
: $20 per hour + annual hourly increases.
