Literacy Tutor
Location:
Newark, DE
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
$30/hour – Certified Teachers $25/hour – Non-Certified Teachers
We are seeking dedicated Literacy Tutors to work with students in Kindergarten through Grade
3. Tutors will provide small group, targeted instruction on foundational reading skills to help young learners build strong literacy foundations.
What We Provide:
- Comprehensive training
- Instructional materials and resources
- Ongoing support from our instructional leadership team
Requirements:
- High school diploma (minimum requirement)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Current TB test
- Teaching certification preferred, but not required
Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about supporting young children's literacy development
- Patient, dependable, and flexible
- Comfortable working in small group settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
