Pay: $17–$18 per hour

Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Newark is seeking a caring and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

Our toddlers are busy developing language, independence, confidence, and friendships. We’re looking for a qualified teacher who can create a nurturing, structured classroom while turning children’s natural curiosity into meaningful learning experiences.

• Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing Toddler classroom
• Implement The Learning Experience’s L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Support language, movement, independence, and social-emotional development
• Engage children through art, music, sensory play, and hands-on learning
• Support meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions
• Maintain consistent routines and positive classroom guidance
• Observe children’s development and communicate with families
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Follow Delaware childcare licensing requirements

• TECE 1 and TECE 2 required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous toddler, daycare, preschool, or childcare experience preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Patient, dependable, nurturing, and team-oriented
• Must meet applicable Delaware childcare licensing requirements

• $17–$18 per hour
• Full-time Monday–Friday schedule
