The Process Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to a defined process area and product line with our Kalrez® manufacturing facility in Newark, Delaware. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement activities in product quality, safety, reliability, and Operational Excellence to meet our business objectives.

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations and KPI’s, ensuring the process is running in control, product flow is unconstrained, and product quality is above target.
• Immediately respond to unplanned events (quality, reliability, safety, etc.) and drive root cause analysis and corrective action closure.
• Drive implementation of process improvements in product quality, safety, reliability, and productivity.
• Understand all applicable process technology, equipment and control technology.
• Responsible for the application of Process Safety Management.
• Participate in advanced troubleshooting and coach others to learn these skills.
• Implement best practices in operations to optimize operations. Work with other support functions as needed to effectively operate plant.
• Understand and apply skills and knowledge in Statistical Process Control (SPC) technology, to maximize plant asset utilization and produce low cost, quality products.
• Initiate changes to Plant Operating procedures to ensure they are valid and up to date.
• Work closely with Operators to support each other and generate Continuous Improvement ideas.
• Support capital project work as needed, including design reviews and commissioning planning and execution.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field, is required.
• Strong drive and ability to work with team members of all backgrounds to achieve results quickly.
• 3+ years of production engineering experience is preferred.
• Previous experience with Lean Six Sigma or a certification is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize and complete assigned work independently and within teams.
• Previous knowledge of machine safety protocols preferred.
• Excellent communication, analysis, troubleshooting and organizational skills.
