Mechanical Engineer

A dynamic and nationally ranked engineering and consulting firm in Delaware is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their growing MEP practice. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that delivers complex, high‑impact facility projects across a wide range of industries.

• Perform and oversee mechanical engineering calculations, assessments, and system design.
• Lead field investigations, HVAC load studies, energy modeling, and code compliance reviews.
• Produce and provide quality control for mechanical and plumbing design documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Mentor and oversee junior engineering staff, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Coordinate design efforts with internal multidisciplinary teams and external partners.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering
• 12+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience designing and specifying HVAC and plumbing systems of varying size and complexity.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, plumbing, building, and energy codes.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and load simulation software (IESVE or Carrier HAP preferred).
