When you walk into a building do you immediately start analyzing it? Do you wonder about the heating, ventilating and air conditioning and plumbing systems? Well, so do we. We are looking for some passionate engineers (recent graduates with up to 3 years of experience) to join our team of folks who are curious about building systems.

The bulk of our projects are renovations, frequently of only the MEP/FP systems, so it makes for some interesting and challenging projects. The fun of renovation work is dealing with the existing constraints imposed by the structure or building operations. We find ourselves regularly solving problems like how to make the equipment fit into an existing building or figuring out how the contractor will build your design.

• Teach you the ins and outs of the MEP/FP consulting industry.
• Provide hands‑on experience with tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and IESVE, or energy modeling software.
• Provide you with different projects – we have never had identical projects and we rarely have “typical” projects. Buildings are unique and so are their systems.
• Mentor you to become a well‑rounded consulting engineer.
• Help you get your boots dirty learning from senior engineers in the field.

• Pursue the FE exam.
• Dive into designing quality projects from day one. Not just drafting them, but surveying existing conditions, calculating system sizes, designing ductwork and piping, and lots more fun stuff.
• Help us tackle our clients’ problems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering (HVAC focus), Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience a plus.
• Ability to conduct day‑long field surveys outdoors and indoors in conditioned and unconditioned spaces, including walking up to 10-20k steps in a day, climbing up and down a 6-foot ladder, kneeling, squatting, and bending.
• Ability to obtain site access at client locations.
• Ability to travel up to 10 nights in a year, in addition to day‑long field surveys.
