Project Engineer (PE) — Water Infrastructure Engineering

A growing engineering and consulting organization is seeking a motivated engineering professional to support planning, design, and delivery of water infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to projects focused on treatment systems, distribution networks, and resource management solutions that support long-term infrastructure performance and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and design support for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities, distribution systems, and collection or pumping systems.
  • Perform preliminary engineering evaluations, technical studies, and project documentation.
  • Develop design drawings, technical specifications, reports, and permit application materials.
  • Assist with proposal preparation and participate in presentations for new project opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project activities and support project team execution.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
  • Participate in client meetings and maintain clear communication with internal and external project partners.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity in the project region.
  • Approximately 5–10 years of experience in water or wastewater infrastructure design.
  • Proficiency with standard office and engineering documentation tools.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet standard background requirements.
