Heat Transfer Fluids Application Scientist, Data Center Cooling

Our Thermal & Specialty Solutions organization is seeking a Heat Transfer Fluids Application Scientist to advance next-generation, low-GWP liquid cooling across immersion and direct-to-chip applications.

How youll contribute

Advance R&D programs in two-phase thermal management for data centers and related markets.

Architect, execute, and oversee multiple simultaneous experiments in lab and field environments.

Interpret data, quantify performance, and present clear recommendations to technical leadership.

Work seamlessly with cross-functional colleagues, customers, and external partners.

Deepen expertise in fluorochemical science and state-of-the-art cooling technologies.

What youll need to succeed

MS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry plus 2+ years in thermal management, refrigeration, or HVAC; ORBS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry plus 5+ years of relevant industry experience in thermal management, refrigeration, or HVAC.Strong fundamentals in refrigeration, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.

Ability to spend >75% of time in the lab while juggling multiple time-sensitive experiments.

Excellent communication, initiative, independence, and a track record of safe work practices.

Preferred Experience with refrigerants or liquid-cooling systems, especially two-phase.
