Civil Engineer (5+ Years Experience) – Land Development / Site Design
📍 Newark, DE Area
Are you a skilled Civil Engineer with a passion for shaping communities and delivering high-quality site design projects? We’re seeking a motivated professional with 5+ years of experience in land development to join our growing team in the Newark, Delaware area.
What You’ll Do:- Design and develop site plans for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects
- Prepare grading, drainage, utility, and erosion & sediment control plans
- Collaborate with project managers, surveyors, and regulatory agencies
- Manage multiple projects while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Support permitting processes and client communications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in land development and site design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (or similar design software)
- Strong knowledge of local codes, ordinances, and permitting processes in Delaware and surrounding areas
- EIT required; PE license preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
