Position Overview
As a Civil Engineer at Atwell, you will contribute to residential, commercial and industrial land development projects, becoming a subject matter expert with dynamic, multifaceted responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Site Plan Excellence: Draft preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
- Data Analysis: Analyze project survey data to assess existing site conditions, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents and condo documents.
- Comprehensive Reporting: Prepare reports, opinions and recommendations for hydrology/hydraulic studies, due diligence, site analysis, cost estimates, project schedules, utility computations, storm sewer reports, soil reports, earthwork volumes, Storm
CAD, Water
CAD reports and preliminary grading. - Construction Support: Provide construction‑related services such as permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates and transmittals, and organize site and construction documents under guidance of senior staff.
- Engineering Software Mastery: Use AutoCAD Civil 3D, Water
CAD, Storm
CAD, Sewer
CAD and related software to complete assignments efficiently and in line with established standards. - Effective Communication: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication when collaborating with team members to ensure seamless project coordination.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Water
CAD, Storm
CAD and Sewer
CAD preferred.
$75,000 – $120,000 USD.
