Job DescriptionThis position carries the responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating various projects valued between $1-10M associated with gas distribution and transmission.
Responsibilities- Leads, with supervision, multi-disciplinary project teams; accountable for planning, coordinating, directing and controlling various gas distribution and transmission construction projects valued at $1-10M.
- With support of seasoned PMs, monitors project progress according to established timelines, recommends budget adjustments when necessary, and meets with contractors weekly.
- Assists with the development of Gantt charts and briefs business unit leadership monthly on progress toward timeline and budget milestones.
- Monitors the project activities to ensure alignment with all State, Federal and Company safety requirements.
- Applies technical knowledge and project management skills to address unforeseen issues or concerns with the project and takes action to resolve.
- General understanding of external regulations and requirements.
- Assist with selection, review of contractor progress.
- Conducts project meetings to review progress, provide updates and identify risks.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Project Management.
- Internship preferred.
- Valid Driver's License required.
