Position OverviewAs a Civil Engineer at Atwell, your role will be dynamic and multifaceted, providing expertise in residential, commercial, and/or industrial land development.
Responsibilities- Draft preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
- Analyze project survey data to assess existing site conditions, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.
- Prepare a variety of reports, opinions, and recommendations for project direction, such as hydrology/hydraulic studies, due diligence reports, engineer’s opinions of probable costs, project schedules, utility computations, detention/retention calculations, storm sewer and stormwater reports, soils reports, earthwork volume calculations, StormCAD and WaterCAD reports, and preliminary grading.
- Provide construction support by handling permit applications, cutting sheets, quantity estimates, and transmittals, and organizing site and construction plans under guidance of senior staff.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software packages to complete assignments efficiently, ensuring alignment with established standards.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills when collaborating with current staff members, ensuring seamless project coordination.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 4+ years of experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD (preferred)

CompensationPay Range: $75,000 — $120,000 USD
