Senior Electrical Engineer

Hologic is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering & Design team, developing innovative medical technologies that advance women's health. In this role, you will lead the design, analysis, and optimization of safety-critical electrical systems for imaging and diagnostic products, ensuring compliance with IEC 60601 and FDA regulations. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement in reliability and performance, all within an inclusive, growth-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, and optimization of electrical systems for advanced women's health imaging and diagnostic devices.
• Ensure designs meet IEC 60601, FDA, and internal quality and safety standards throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, clinical, and quality teams to translate user needs into robust designs.
• Guide PCB design, component selection, and integration of sensors, power electronics, and embedded controls.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for field and manufacturing issues to enhance reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers, champion design best practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
