ESSENTIALFUNCTIONSANDRESPONSIBILITIES- Collaborates with Senior Engineersandotherstaffinthedesign ,analysis,andevaluationofengineeringsystems,components,andprocessesusingapplicableengineeringsoftware,calculations,modeling,andsimulations.
- Independentlydevelopsengineeringdesignplans,specifications,reports,andtechnicaldocumentationforwaterandwastewaterprojectsaspartofaprojectteam.
- Collects,processes,andanalyzesdata;evaluatesalternativesolutions;andpreparestechnicalreportsanddesigndocumentstosupportengineeringrecommendationsandconclusions.
- Preparesandmaintainsaccurateengineeringdrawings,specifications,reports,calculations,andotherprojectdocumentationinaccordancewithprojectrequirementsandregulatorystandards.
- Assistswithprojectplanning,budgets,schedules,resourceforecasting,cost tracking,andprojectcloseoutactivities.
- Identifiesandtroubleshootstechnicalissuesandcollaborateswithprojectteamstodevelopeffectivesolutionswithinestablishedprojectrequirements,budgets,and schedules.
- Coordinatesconstructionprojectsubmittals,deliverables,reviews,andapprovalstoensurecompliancewithcontractrequirements.
- CoordinateswithGISandSurveydepartmentstoobtaintopographic,location,boundary,recordplan,andotherinformationnecessaryforprojectplanning,design,and permitting.
- Requests,reviews,andevaluatesproposalsfromconsultantsandcontractors.
- Reviewsdevelopmentplanssubmittedbyoutsideconsultantsandengineersandchecksengineeringdesigncalculationsforcompliancewithcompanystandardsandspecifications.
- Researchesengineeringtopics,regulations,technologies,andindustrypracticesandpreparesreportsorpresentationstocommunicatefindings.
- Bachelor'sdegreeinengineeringorarelatedfield.
- Professional Engineer(PE) licenseortheabilitytoacquireonewithin2yearsrequired.
- Avaliddriver'slicensewithcleandrivingrecordinaccordancewithcompanyandinsurancestandards
- Minimumoffive(5) yearsofprofessionalengineeringexperienceasalicensed

Engineer. - Proficiencywithpersonalcomputersandapplicableengineeringsoftware.
- Abilitytoindependentlyanalyzecomplexengineeringproblems,exercisesoundjudgment,anddevelopeffectivetechnicalsolutions.
- Abilitytocolle,interpret,andanalyzetechnicaldataandreachsoundconclusionsinatimelymanner.
- Knowledgeofapplicablefederal,state,andlocalregulationsandengineeringstandards.
- Effectivewrittenandverbalcommunicationskillswiththeabilitytocommunicatetechnicalinformationtoemployees,departments,consultants,contractors,andregulatoryagencies.
- Mustpossessavaliddriver'slicense.
- Experiencewithwaterandwastewaterinfrastructureprojects.
- Experiencewithengineeringdesign,construction management,project coordination,permitting,andregulatorycompliance.
- ExperiencewithGIS,surveyingdata,engineeringmodeling,anddesignsoftware.
- Experiencereviewingconsultantandcontractorproposals,plans,specifications,andtechnicalsubmittals.
