A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Fraud Detection Specialist.

Newark Delaware (Hybrid – 4 days onsite and 1 day Remote).

Fraud Detection Specialist, You will:

• Review fraud alerts and internal notifications to identify suspicious or fraudulent activity across multiple payment types.
• Verify flagged transactions with customers via outbound and inbound calls.
• Initiate and document dispute claims for confirmed fraudulent activity.
• Detect and investigate fraud schemes such as account takeover (ATO), email compromise, elder abuse, counterfeit checks, and other red‑flag scenarios.
• Open cases/claims on suspicious activity, investigate thoroughly, and escalate when appropriate.
• Apply logical problem‑solving and sound judgment to ensure appropriate customer outcomes.
• Follow established policies and procedures to mitigate risk and protect the bank from financial loss.
• Perform defined mitigation steps to reduce financial loss to customers and the bank.
• Maintain accuracy and minimal error rates in a high‑volume, high‑risk environment.
• Consult with senior peers and team leads on moderate to complex issues to build expertise.
• Complete assigned duties within daily deadlines, meeting KPIs and SLAs with efficiency and minimal supervision.
• Handle sensitive information with professionalism and strong communication skills.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Review and decision alerts in the Fraud application independently, applying operating guidelines to make informed decisions.
• Follow standard scripts and procedures for fraud alert review activities.
• Demonstrate resiliency and adaptability in a fast‑paced contact center environment.
• Exhibit personal excellence including punctuality, integrity, and accountability.
• Prioritize and multitask effectively in a metrics‑driven environment.
• Think critically and exercise independent judgment in fraud detection scenarios.

Pay Range: $24/hr to $27/hr (Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.)
