Syndicated Loan Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Newark, DE that is seeking a Syndicated Loan Analyst to support end-to-end trade booking and loan operations activities within the banking sector. This role involves close collaboration with multiple business lines and control partners to ensure accurate trade execution, strong risk management, and continuous process improvement. Entry level candidates with relevant education and internship or project experience are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end trade booking process, including:
• Daily communication with business partners across multiple Lines of Business (LOBs)
• Affirmation of economic trade details
• Booking, enrichment, and allocation of trades in the loan processing system
• Exception management for Primary Syndication and Third-Party trades
• Bridge Loan Participation support
• Portfolio transfers and trade amendments
• Participation in system initiatives and testing for supported LOBs
• Resolve day-to-day operational issues arising during the trade management lifecycle
• Ensure timely escalation of risk and control issues to appropriate Compliance, Controls, and Legal stakeholders
• Participate in Operations and Technology strategic initiatives, including planning and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for BAU implementations

• MIS and control data management
• Daily and monthly KPI tracking and reporting
• Support for SOX and internal/external audit requirements
• CSA reviews and ongoing process reviews and improvements
• Continuous assessment and enhancement of the control environment

• Middle Office Documentation and Operations Settlements teams
• Loan and Agency Services
• Legal, Credit, Compliance, Controls, and Technology partners to ensure smooth execution of trades throughout the syndication pipeline

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Banking, Economics, Finance or a related field
• Prior experience in the banking sector is preferred
• Previous involvement in internships, academic projects, or relevant training is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, control-focused environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
