Alternatives Operations Vice President

Location:

Newark, DE, United States

As an Alternatives Operations Vice President in Asset Management Operations, you will work with internal JPM teams, clients and service providers (administrators, custodians, etc.) in facilitating alternative investments transactions. You will be responsible for monitoring our internal systems for trade orders, working with the team to execute the orders, and completing transactional documentation while answering any queries from clients and vendors.

Job Responsibilities
  • Create, manage and review all documents and spreadsheets relating to subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and conversion processing for both Investors and Investments
  • Execute complex investments in and out of underlying Hedge Fund Managers and Private Credit Managers (both USD and FX)
  • Work closely with portfolio management, risk, and custodians on the finalization of trades and executions
  • Collaborate directly with clients, client support teams, and internal working teams on new product launches and new business initiatives
  • Offer guidance on product services, AML/KYC and processes to clients, client support teams, and JPM teams
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiencies and scalability, and work with business groups to enhance current systems and processes
  • Resolve problems and discrepancies both internally and externally
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • College Degree
  • 4 years of relevant experience
  • Proactive, detail oriented, team player with strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills
  • Extensive Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Ability to communicate directly with all levels of senior management within the organization
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as the group expands
