Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting
The Semiconductor Technologies business is seeking a Senior Plant Finance Analyst to be an integral member of the site leadership teams.
This role will provide financial guidance and analytical insight on performance to support site and business objectives, manage and improve the monthly forecasting process, and enhance cost predictability to enable productivity improvements and strategic decision making. The position will support two manufacturing facilities in Newark, Delaware.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and standardize monthly and annual forecasting and reporting in partnership with site operations and the continuous improvement, supply chain and finance teams, using strong analytical and organizational skills to ensure high-quality, accurate outputs to improve cost transparency and predictability.
- Perform monthly actual versus forecast analysis and reporting for direct and indirect site costs to identify key drivers and help assess productivity risks and improvement opportunities.
- Engage closely with site leaders and managers by providing guidance on expense classification, cost center assignments, accounting policies, and SAP navigation and IMR reporting tools.
- Partner with site, unit and functional leaders to provide ad‑hoc analysis and cost control to help translate accounting and financial results into operational language for better transparency and understanding to support decision making and productivity efforts.
- Partner with the accounting service center on monthly plant cost accounting activities and analysis for:
Standard costing, manual adjusting entries, product cost estimate reviews, and SAP updates for monthly forecasting and annual planning. - Track and monitor:
Accruals and open purchase order liabilities for proper accounting recognition, including trial costs, scrap forecasting, and productivity projects. - Perform ad‑hoc financial and data analysis to support the site’s key performance metrics (KPIs).
- Ensure integrity of financial results in compliance with corporate accounting and financial policies, including SOX requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline, required.
- 5+ years of experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and accounting skills in a manufacturing environment. Experience with standard cost and variance analysis is strongly preferred.
- Effective collaborative team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- System experience:
Knowledge of SAP (P80 primarily and P23), proficient in Excel, and familiarity with Power BI reporting.
