As a Margin and Collateral Specialist within Market Operations, you will help drive our clients’ business forward while gaining a behind‑the‑scenes view of our own operations. You’ll work on implementing ideas that improve and enhance client services, driving increased productivity and efficiencies for both clients and the firm.

The Collateral Services Team supports bilateral OTC derivative collateral requirements and all related settlements. The Client Service Representative will primarily serve buy‑side clients (Hedge Funds, Investment Advisors/Asset Managers) and develop partnerships internally with marketers/salespeople, prime brokerage, credit executives, middle offices, and line‑of‑business operations teams.

Responsibilities
  • Remain client focused, work independently under strict deadlines with limited supervision, and be control oriented.
  • Process outgoing and incoming margin calls efficiently and accurately, providing transparency to clients when needed.
  • Ensure all agreed transfers are eligible under the appropriate legal documentation.
  • Respond to client inquiries and coordinate with front/middle office and core processing areas to facilitate resolution.
  • Identify and resolve client disputes related to collateral and trade settlement discrepancies.
  • Perform risk mitigation (operational, financial and reputational).
  • Maintain and build excellent relationships with internal partners and external clients.
Required Qualifications , Capabilities, and Skills
  • Desire to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Self‑motivated, enthusiastic with a great appetite to learn and develop new skills.
  • Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to organize and prioritize work in a busy environment while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications , Capabilities, and Skills
  • Previous exposure to financial products including securities and derivatives instruments (advantageous but not essential).
  • Process oriented with strong attention to detail, highly entrepreneurial, creative, open‑minded, persistent, collaborative and passionate about delivering business results.
