Position Overview
Finance Director at Chemours, based at the corporate headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware
, reporting to the Vice President of FP&A. The role supports the Advanced Performance Materials (APM) business unit as its Segment Chief Financial Officer.
- Lead and supervise the financial planning and analysis functions, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Serve as a key member of the APM global business leadership team, contributing to broader business strategy and organizational development.
- Oversee the preparation of all segment financial reporting and forecasting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and governance frameworks to ensure data integrity.
- Guide key investment decisions, manage capital requests, and strategize capital allocation.
- Evaluate and optimize financial performance by analyzing results, monitoring variances, and identifying trends.
- Mentor and develop a high-caliber finance team, fostering continuous improvement and excellence.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop cost‑effective business solutions and enhance profitability.
- Maintain awareness of regulatory changes, industry developments, and macroeconomic trends that may affect the business.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of financial management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Extensive experience with financial systems, databases, and business intelligence tools.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build, guide, and inspire a finance team.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of negotiating with and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and driving business results.
- MBA, CPA, CMA, or other advanced certifications.

Pay Range: $ – $ (Local Currency).
Annual bonus target: 27% of base salary.
Annual stock award: 65,000.00 USD.
