Clinical Staff Pharmacist

Full‑time inpatient pharmacist position located at the Newark Campus, Christiana Care.

• Review and interpret provider orders and dispense medication.
• Evaluate drug efficacy and review for contraindications and precautions.
• Clarify and resolve questioned orders with providers before dispensing initial doses.
• Manage specific medication therapies per approved policies, including warfarin, aminoglycosides, vancomycin, IV to PO conversions, renal dose adjustments, indication‑directed dose adjustments, and selection of surgical prophylaxis medications.
• Provide drug information to allied healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate and supervise work‑place activities.
• Assume responsibility of satellite pharmacies, including sterile product processing in the IV Admixture Service laboratory and OR pharmacy.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Current licensure (or eligibility to reciprocate) in the State of Delaware.

Hourly Pay Range: $58.26 - $93.22.
