CVOR- Surgical Tech

Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for a CVOR Surgical Tech for a Direct Hire opportunity in Newark, DE.

Salary Range: $52,000.00 to $78,000.00. Sign‑On Bonus: $15,000.00. Competitive base pay: $52,041.60 – $71,557.20 without national certification, $57,241.60 – $78,707.20 with national certification. National certification can be one of the following: NCCT, AST, NBSTSA. If you have significant CVOR specialty experience, the salary can be negotiable.

Schedule:

Primarily day shift, 4×10‑hour shifts per week. On‑call obligation required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (required for hires post‑2009).
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Must have cardiovascular OR (CVOR) specialty experience.

• Scrub responsibilities across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Ability to function independently within established protocols.
• Competence in unit tasks assigned by the RN.
• Sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, and patient confidentiality.
• Proficient computer and keyboarding skills.

• BCLS certification.
• Certification by an approved body (e.g., NBSTSA – CST, or NCCT – TS‑C).
