Part‑Time CT Technologist – Evening/ Midnight Shift

This role performs all phases of CT scan testing on in‑patients and out‑patients in accordance with established procedures and protocols under the direction of the Radiologist. Work includes evening to midnight shifts with weekend and holiday requirements.

Performance of all phases of CT Scan Testing on hospital in‑patients and out‑patients.

• Demonstrate complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of CT scanner units.
• Complete all assigned imaging and non‑imaging procedures within scheduled times.
• Verify insurance pre‑authorization as defined by departmental protocols prior to scanning patients.
• Assist in training students and new staff on department procedures, quality control, and radiation safety.
• Administer all contrast media under physician supervision.
• Assess patients for adverse reactions and changes in patient status.
• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in use of contrast media injectors.
• Perform i‑STAT testing and calculate GFR according to departmental policies.
• Provide appropriate care across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Perform assigned work safely, adhering to safety rules and practices.

• Weekends and holidays as required.
• Rotating evening and night shifts.

• Completion of ARRT registry in CT scan required.
• Licensed by State of Delaware in Radiation Protection.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Completion of the CT Registry exam is a job requirement; non‑certified hires have 2 years to pass.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.

Sign‑on bonus: $7,500, available for eligible candidates.

Salary: $41.15 to $56.58 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
