Today, it is a division of the New York Blood Center and a key part of the community's healthcare system, employing approximately 175 staff members as of October 2019. Our mission is to provide safe and sufficient blood for patients in our community.
Position:Blood Collection Technician (Full-Time)

The Mobile Blood Drive Team at BBD in Newark, DE, offers training for experienced phlebotomists and newcomers to healthcare. The team works varied schedules at different locations, with schedules provided 2 weeks in advance. We value work-life balance and seek individuals eager to be part of a healthcare team.
Responsibilities include:- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of face-to-face customer service experience
- At least 1 year managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Shift schedule: mornings, evenings, weekends (schedule released 2 weeks in advance)
- Entry-level position with a 3-step career ladder
- Essential during severe weather or emergencies
