Christiana Care is recruiting for a full time Speech Language Pathologist to assess and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders in an inpatient acute care setting. With an emphasis on patient-family centered care, we specialize in a variety of services with a dynamic interdisciplinary/trans-disciplinary team approach. One weekend day per month and one holiday per year required.

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment programs to include family specific goals and time frames
• Provide patient and family education and training

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) OR CF Certification
• CPR Certification
• Acute care experience preferred
• Strong CF candidate will be considered

Training/Mentorship Program for skills including but not limited to: tracheostomy/vent, Videofluoroscopy Swallowing Studies, Fiber optic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing, and Videostroboscopy Studies;

Hourly Pay Range: $35.39 - $56.63

This pay rate/range represents Christiana Care's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
