Senior Human Resources Business PartnerLocation:
Newark, Delaware – fully on‑site, five days a week. Reports to the Director of Human Resources.
- Partner with department leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management, and leadership development.
- Support talent acquisition activities, including workforce planning, interviewing and onboarding.
- Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to recommend actionable improvements.
- Manage employee relations matters ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Assist with the performance review process, goal‑setting and succession planning.
- Collaborate on organizational design and change‑management initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support compensation and benefits programs and recommend market‑competitive solutions.
- Promote employee engagement, inclusion and retention initiatives.
- Facilitate training and professional development programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Proven ability to coach, lead and develop organizations.
- Experience managing complex employee relations and federal & state employment laws.
- Strong knowledge of compensation planning, modeling and analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably Workday, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, twist, lift/carry 10–25 lbs.
- Requires use of hands/fingers to operate computer equipment.
- Visual and hearing acuity to detect alarms, read materials and communicate effectively.
- Will work in manufacturing, warehouse and office settings.
- Competency in written and verbal English.
