Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Location:

Newark, Delaware – fully on‑site, five days a week. Reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with department leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Support talent acquisition activities, including workforce planning, interviewing and onboarding.
  • Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to recommend actionable improvements.
  • Manage employee relations matters ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
  • Assist with the performance review process, goal‑setting and succession planning.
  • Collaborate on organizational design and change‑management initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Support compensation and benefits programs and recommend market‑competitive solutions.
  • Promote employee engagement, inclusion and retention initiatives.
  • Facilitate training and professional development programs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Proven ability to coach, lead and develop organizations.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations and federal & state employment laws.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation planning, modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably Workday, and Microsoft Office suite.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
  • Ability to bend, kneel, reach, twist, lift/carry 10–25 lbs.
  • Requires use of hands/fingers to operate computer equipment.
  • Visual and hearing acuity to detect alarms, read materials and communicate effectively.
  • Will work in manufacturing, warehouse and office settings.
  • Competency in written and verbal English.
