Data Analyst

The Data Analyst at Alias Group is a key role in our organization. This role is tasked with the responsibility to gather, analyze, and interpret data pertaining to the business, glean insights from that data, and create reports which will help business leaders to understand the business’ current state and guide our future direction. The Data Analyst interacts and works closely with department heads to ensure all stakeholders are on the same page.

• Collect and analyze data from various sources, utilizing statistical techniques to interpret and provide insights into the data sets.
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Present data-driven recommendations to the management team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and finance to gather needed data and provide analytical insights for their respective departments.
• Work on special projects as assigned and provide insights using the data available.

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar quantitative field
• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience as a Data Analyst or in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of statistical tools, data mining, and data analysis methodologies.
• Experience in using databases and SQL, data visualization tools such as Power
  
  BI or Tableau.
• High proficiency in Excel including knowledge of advanced functions.
• Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
